Licensing Focus

Your Focus License
A Focus license allows you to run the software on a single PC and the license key system means that Focus will only activate on the PC you supplied a Computer ID for.

The software is licensed to a specific PC using an 8-digit code called the Computer ID. This unique ID is calculated by Focus on installation and you can find this code by opening Focus and clicking on the ‘Registration’ option under the ‘Help’ tab.

Getting Your Focus License
If you purchased Focus online your Focus license will have been generated automatically for you as part of the process.

For those customers who did not purchase Focus through our online e-commerce facility, or are having difficulty with the online process, we can still generate a License for you. Getting your Focus License is a simple process:

1. Under the 'Help' tab in Focus click on the Registration option.
2. In the 'Manage Registration for Focus X2 window that opens up, select the 'Request a License Activation' option.
3. Enter the details required License Activation Type and then click on the 'Request a License Activation Code by Email' option in the Request Method window. (If for any reason you have a problem automatically generating the email then please copy & paste the Computer ID, Registered User and Organisation details into an email using your own email programme).
4. Send the email that is generated.
5. We will generate a License and email this back to you along with simple instructions on how to install your license.
